If you have been to school or interacted with the opposite sex, you will by now be aware that males and females are wired very differently.
Men only use one part of their brain for thinking or doing an activity. Whilst women have an ability to use different parts of their brain at the same time. Some times this is adventagous, other times I think it handicaps us!
When is cialis online canadian pharmacy it good NOT to be a woman?
I think about the continual table tennis match that can go on in my brain when I drop my kids off to school. What will I cook for dinner? Did I give money for the tuckshop? Where are the tennis shoes? Can I put another load of washing on before my first patient? I had better get to the bank today and then a patient will call and I will talk with them. You get the picture! Women have an ability to use lots of their brain simultaneously but it doesn’t necessarily make our lives better.
Sometimes I think that having this activity zipping around our brain does more harm than good.
You see, when your brain is in over-drive, your body is also responding. The normal physical response to stress can be activated by thoughts alone! This means if you are getting anxious in your head, you are also getting anxious in your body.
It is very difficult to switch down that chatter but if you don’t master it, you will end up producing more stress hormones, more testosterone and be less happy!
Relaxing and focusing our thoughts takes guidance and practice.
I have elaborated on this more in my 12 week hormone happiness programs, but here are 3 of my TOP TIPS!
1. Commit to do daily relaxation (I use an audio that has words and music)
2. Do exercise every day (this helps stress leave your body)
3. Learn to prioritise time and commitments. So many things we agree to do in life, don’t need to be done by us, or anyone at all. BE ruthless.
